15.06.2010: Debut album, "Swept Away" officially realeased
Our very first CD, titled "Swept Away" is released today! 9 of the 11 tracks were arranged or composed by members of the group. One piece, "Depths", was written by London composer Jeff Smallman, while "A Cradle Song" was written by our dear friend Joel Nilson, from the Swedish sextet, Vocado. The album blends a wide variety of styles; the title track, Swept Away is an electronic/pop fusion - Slumber Songs is a lullaby set to the text of John McCrae - thus, there is no particular label one could put on the album stylistically speaking. One thing remains: the entire album demonstrates the power of just the human voice.
Swept Away can be purchased at any Six Vocal Ensemble concert, or at our online store.
